Jeff Quick is Chief Financial Officer for STARS (Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service), providing air medical assistance to critically ill and injured patients. Since 2009, Jeff has led the finance, human resources, information technology and enterprise risk teams, including the expansion of STARS services to Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
As a CPA, CA Jeff spent the first 10 years of his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Financial Services Group
providing Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Restructuring and Pension Wind-Up Services in Ontario. Subsequently, he led strategic planning and business development with the AIR MILES Loyalty Program and then its parent company Alliance Data Systems in the U S.
Jeff is a community volunteer on the Bow Valley College Audit and Risk Management Council. Additionally, he has shared his love of sport in coaching boys’ hockey for 10 years in Ontario and girls Alberta Club volleyball for the last eight years where teams have placed 10th, 8th and 6th provincially in their age group. When he is not working or volunteering, Jeff enjoys his road bike and time connecting with his wife Kathryn and their two adult children, Bryce and Erin, who are making it on their own in Toronto.
